Coming Into Care

Every year, hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, caged birds and other small pets come to the Refuge while we look for new, permanent homes for them.

Some arrive as strays. Others have become homeless through no fault of their own.

There can be many reasons why people have to give up their pets, including family breakdown, serious illness, unemployment, or bereavement. The Refuge gives these animals a second chance at happiness.

If you adopt an animal from us, we ask for a fee towards the keep of the other animals in our care.

For more details please contact the office.

By choosing to re-home a pet, you can make a real and positive difference to an animal's life.
